週刊少年サンデーで連載されていた夏目義徳「トガリ」が奇跡の復活。数々の罪を犯し処刑された少年統兵衛。地獄に送られて300年。幾度となく脱走を試みる彼に、地獄の首魁・エマは現世の罪狩りを命じた。罪が実体化した「咎」を狩ることが出来る木刀「咎狩」を渡された統兵衛。108日で108の罪を狩ることが出来れば、自由を手に入れることが出来る。現世の少女いつきらとの交流を経て、悪のみを頼る心に変化を見せる統兵衛だが、人間界を見守る天界・地獄界の思惑が彼を追い詰めていく。いつきの父が亡くなった10年前の事件の真相。白い闇と呼ばれ、統兵衛を狙う少年の思惑。すべての謎に決着がつく新編「咎狩 白」。統兵衛が狩ることの出来る罪は残り１つ。そして現世での許された時間は残り１日。統兵衛最期の１日が始まる。
